What we look for
We're looking for entrepreneurs who are passionate about their business. We look for entrepreneurs who have built strong teams that believe their venture can change the purchasing behaviour of consumers or businesses. We also look for businesses that can transform or create an industry.
In particular, we look for:
- Businesses based in the UK
- Experienced and committed management teams
- Novel ways to satisfy unmet customer and business needs
- A focus on large existing markets or embryonic markets expected to undergo explosive growth
- Companies that could have sales in excess of £25m within three years
- Exit within five years of investment
We expect the entrepreneurs that we invest in to be articulate about their vision and lead with passion and energy. We like to work with entrepreneurs who are realistic about what they can achieve. They will also be honest about their own abilities and will have built a team with complimentary abilities in sales and marketing, operations, business development and finance. We want to invest in both new entrepreneurs with fresh vision and ideas as well as experienced business people who have learned how to create great businesses from experience but need more support than they would normally get from another venture house.
