Joining the Octopus Investor Group
By joining us as a member of the Investor Group, we will provide you with business opportunities that can generate targeted substantial capital returns. You will remain in control of whether or not, and how much, you invest in each company seeking funding. If you have skills to offer them, you may also have the opportunity to become more actively involved with the companies.
Becoming a member of the group is straightforward. In order to meet the requirements of the Financial Services Authority, we will ask you to provide information about your financial standing and expertise. You will also need to provide documentation to satisfy Money Laundering Regulations by providing your original passport and an original utility bill as proof of address.
In particular, you will have to show:
- Earnings in excess of £100k per annum or net worth greater than £300k (excluding the value of your prime residence)
- Awareness that investment in venture capital is risky and that you could lose all of your invested capital in such companies
- Ability to evaluate investment opportunities in unlisted and listed securities
